my car (96) would not start a couple weeks ago, took it to the shop and the fuse got replaced. it ran for a while but then yesterday it would not start again. so i swapped out the air conditioning fuse (or whatever those black things are in the fuse box under the hood) with the fuel pump one and it worked until now... i am at school now and i have to be at work soon but i dont know what to do. the shop that fixed it said it could be the "run relay" but i dont know what that is. anyway. any quick advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

ok, fixed it a while ago but just now relpying. the problem was the fuel pump. i have lived with a non-working gas gauge for about 2 years but now that we replaced it, the gauge works and the car starts fine. well.... until now which is why i am back on again... starter problem now...
