car needs a new battery just wondering whats the best battery to buy for my neon? thanks

 

There's plenty of good batteries out there, I use a cheapy from Advance Auto and with my 1.5 Farad Capacitor im sucking 2k watts from it and it does fine. Lights still dim a bit tho . I'm sure one of the other guys on here have better advice, but I would just ask the guys in an auto store. Your battery is only needed to start your car and run your electronics, so it doesn't take too much of a beating. If you want a really good battery get a Red or Yellow top. They're expensive, but they are definately guaranteed to last.

 

Optima Red top is a great battery. If you want a lightweight one, look at the Odyssey.
