I know you have all talked about this many times before. And i have read all the threads about Swapping from a SOHC to a DOHC and they all only state if you have one laying around then go for it. But the real question im asking is it really all that benifical to swap to a DOHC?? Because i plan on going turbo and along with porting the head and a custom intake manifold later on. But can you gain extra flow with the DOHC and that lil bit of timing adjustment possiable with two cams instead one is it really worth the extra work??? Thanks for any help.

 

If you are gonna go turbo later on, then it would be beneficial to swap to a DOHC head.
