does it hurt to bypass power steering. if i remember correctly. neon has power assist as opposed to power steering. meaning that it works fine with out the power steering. correct. what are the advantes of it and has anyone done it?

What do you mean by by-pass? You dont want the drag from the pump? Yes you can remove you power steering pump, then cross the lines. It will be harder to turn, you will mostly notice it a dead stop like other vehicles without p/s.

 

Cross the lines? What do you mean? Can you run a power rack without power?
