so basically whenever i go over railroad tracks or hit a pot hole my car shuts off. wait 30 secs and it starts right back up fine. sometimes it happens on the smallest bumps sometimes. what could be causing this?

 

I would definatly check the batt cables. I have a 95 geo tracker, same exact **** would happen offroading in highschool. Took a drunk friend to open the hood and smack the lead ends to make it work for the trip back... Good ****... damn, two am...

when you try and turn the car on, can you hear the fuel pump prime the system.

chech the connection to the PCM
