Default couple problems

ight have some problems again with my neon, first thing is that why are my spark plugs white? i heard when it is white, that means the motor is too HOT or too lean? now is that true? car runs little weak and gas wastes like a V6, and the motor is never over heating, then now this time if year, the car is hard to start when it is brick cold out side, im guessing my TPS sensor is going out? because if i give a bit of gas, the motor will die out, and if its really really cold, it will start and then shut off, but when its running(IDLE) i can like tap the gas it will go up and the RPM drop to that point that it wants to shut off and then go to normal idle, i can record a video tomorrow so you guys can see what im talking about, when the motor is warmes up after driving it will become better, but it never did this last year.

My plugs are whitish too. I've heard that that's either relatively normal, or else it means the engine is running a tad hot. I dunno though, I don't think it's anything to worry about unless there's crud on them.
