I just put a new engine in my 99 r/t and when I had it apart I put a new clutch in. When I started it for the first time the throw out bearing made noise and a little tap of the clutch made the noise disappear. Also, the noise went away after the engine had been running for a minute. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

i dont know where you are from, but the noise is normal in the cold monthes....it will go away/or atleast quiet down alot once spring time comes back....
but it is pretty normal....it usually starts in december on this forum and there will be about 1 post a week asking about the TOB noise...but as soon as spring comes around, there are no more posts about it

 

the same thing is happening to my car man. i was relieved to know that they all do that. w00t
