Exclamation guys i REALLY need your help here please...tps problem

at idle the car sounds like its misfiring and it spits the exhaust out the tail pipe its not constant flow. i have a check engine light for the throttle position sensor it says the voltage is too high. so i replaced the sensor and checked the wiring because i had to extent the plug for the motor swap. the wiring is fine and its a brand new sensor. i cleared the codes and it came right back and it still runs bad. i hooked up our obd2 computer and it is at 11% at idle and 72% at wide open throttle. and it moves consistantly in between. the car will run perfect at about 1/8th throttle above 2,000 rmps all the way to redline but as soon as i give it more gas it will sound like its misfiring. this happened immediately after i started it after running a compression test nothing else was touched i just took out the spark plugs and put the wires on the black peice at the bottom of the windshield still plugged into the coil pack. could that have messed something up by cranking it without them being plugged in? like frying the coil pack or computer? what all should i check?

Did the bad coil mess with the TPS? Your neon up and running again?
