I have a commando 550-s alarm. I was looking at there website and they are telling me that the common wire for the door trigger is the yellow and black wire behind the light switch. well when i hooked it up i can arm the alarm and open the door, nothing happens. Well when i shut the door the shock sensor picks it up. So i guess my question is does anyone know what wires are the door trigger wires.

 

i dont exaclt remember what colors the wires are, but your best bet is to buy a haynes manual...they have wiring schematics in the back that show all the wires you will need

 

Thats what i have, but it doesnt say anything about the door pin trigger..

 

in the book, find the wiring for the dome light and follow that around
