Default battery light on

Hello,

I have a 1995 Dodge Neon. Since we changed the starter, Wednesday, the battery light is switched on continuously. You tell me: alternator, it is thought, therefore, have returned the alternator (still under warranty, as nine of March), it is defeated in all tracks, and he said he had nothing, he have changed the c state like the code said(ignition key). The alternator load 14.2. Then have thought a computer and was tested 3 computer but the fact is same. We have check thread, same thing, fuse, same thing. 3 mecanician analyzing the car and found none.

If you have an idea, thank you very much!

next to the battery the is a batt temp senor, if it unplugged or something is wrong it will do the CEL and the batt light.

Is your check engine light (CEL)on??

have you done the key dance?

Yes I bet they removed your battery tray when the did the starter. And didnt hook the sensor back up. If thats not it I would check the connections on the starter. I think the alternator charge wire runs from the alternator directly to the starter. So if it wasnt installed correctly it can cause charging problems which will throw a battery light.

its your battery temp sensor that is not connected, it plugs into the front of your battery tray thats what is causing your battery light to stay on
