does any body knows why i cant reach the 5000 rpm in my neon.. and it consumes a lot a lot of gas.. i have changed the exhaust tube.. it had some holes... but i replaced it.. but i dont know what else can be.. my car.. says that it has the 25 and 31 problems.. one is the purge canister.. and the other one is about the raleti.. do you think this could be a possibility.. ??? why my car is not good... thankx.. what i have to do ...???thankx

 

That is kind of odd. I don't know what a "the other one is about the raleti" is. More information would help. You are saying that if you step on the gas on neutral that the car will not goto 5000 rpm? If its an auto, I am not sure of the shift points, but it might shift before 5000, but that is kind of low and you should have the trans serviced.
