Default Slide show of my 98 Dodge Neon

Today was kinda a lazy day so I thought I'd put together a slide show of my 98 Dodge Neon. I love to play around with this little car. Have two many mods to mention!
Hope you enjoy!
Just click on the image below, Jim

Get rid of the Tweety Bird stuff & I'd drive it. Sorry, I have a fiery hatred of all things Looney Tunes. Hello Kitty, on the other hand...

Not bad....you gotta replace the steering wheel and paint the top part of the dash.

car looks o.k. but i would get rid of all the APC junk, keep everything 2 colors and get rid of the yellow and purple....i would hate to see more of the wiring mess in that car...

FYI: if you make a few small brackets and remove the glove box lid, a PS2 fits almost perfectly in the glovebox opening

Dont take this the wrong way, but I dont like it. I dont see the point of painting a dash (half a dash in this case) putting in a playstation to play on a 7" screen, or racing seats with harness's on a stock appearing SOHC automatic... The body kit looks kinda funky imho.

I see no performance mods besides an MSD(stock coil with new paint) and a CAI. The wiring looms bother me, especially in that color.

I see alot of "show" parts screeming look at me, but, I dont think it's any faster then stock.

I could be compleatly wrong, and you can rabble off parts lists that would make me quiver in fear, and I'd appoligize or calling your car all show, no go...

Just being honest, not hating or anything, but I'm not a fan so far.

Thanks for the opinions guys... good and bad. You gotta understand... this is just a toy and very rarely drive it... it's just something to play with. As far as the "tweety bird" items... they're just floor mats to keep NEW carpet good and were gifts from my children... so I LOVE THEM. As far as the playstation... I never play playstation... it's for my 6 year old grandson to play with when he's bombing round with PaPa. I NEVER plan on showing this car as most of the extra stuff I had laying around in my collection of STUFF and as I'm disabled... I added just for the fun of it! NO... this is NOT a hot rod but as a cruiser around town... averages 27.3 MPG. There was a TON of $$$$ invested in this... which is CRAZY... but it wasn't by me... it was by a little RICH girl who's parents spoiled her and bought her everything and anything she wanted for it. (In fact have more NEW stuff, still in boxes, that she gave me when I bought this car.) IN fact, mostly everything on this car was put on by her!! It's simply one toy in a group of 22 cars I have! It's just FUN!!! And I'm 62 and thats the real fun part... when I take it somewhere and I get out I get so MANY double takes... it really cracks me up! Everyone that knows me personally knows I love CARS.....ALL CARS and people are always telling me where there are cars for sale... I make a ridiculous offer... if they take it... Hmmm, I got another car to play with, if not.... who cares! Thanks so much for all your opinions....and I'm still having FUN... lots of it! And I hope when you are all in your 60's, failing health, you can look back and remember Jim and what he has that helps him through each day with a SMILE on his face! LOL Oh, and if I want a "GO" car, something with "giddup", I just take out my 06 Mag SRT8, or my 95 Z/28 with chip, or my Vega with the 350ci and narrowed rear end, or my 75 Monza with 400ci, or my 60 Biscayne with corvette 350, or my 66 Impala SS 327/4speed, or my 1980 Mailbu Pro Street.....etc,etc,,Not bragging, just pluggin' some of my other toys!!!
