Default neon acting up, low fuel pressure, misfire on 2? cylinders

so i was driving back from my parents today, got about 15 miles down the road when it first acted up, nothing big, just a little chugging/misfiring as i accelerated out of town after slowing down. this slowly progressed to chugging upon any acceleration more than VERY gentle, to all of a sudden i had basically nothing. engine was chugging really bad, barely enough to run under it's own power. i checked over what i could, no obvious stuff, pulled some plug wires with it running to see if i had spark and see which cylinders were giving it power. cylinders 3&4 (furthest 2 from the belt side) didn't change engine any, but had very good spark. cylinder 2 (second in from belts) sparked well also, and when i cleared the wire from sparking, engine started running even worse, but still running, so i am thinking 1&2 were pulling 3&4 as dead cylinders. i checked my fuel pressure gauge on my pressure regulator. it was at 23 psi. WAY low from it's usual ~50. i tried turning up the pressure, but it didn't change. so i shut it off for a while after moving it off the interstate (about a mile, chugging real bad, i know not good, but neither is a semi in the a$$...)

after sitting for a while (about an hour and a half, waiting for my friend to arrive to tow) i tried it again, ran well for about a couple hundred yards, started doing it again, so i said screw it, and had it towed. it idled fine now however, so i kept it running while being towed. don't know if it matters, but as soon as it started moving the idle pulled up a hundred rpm or so.

after being towed for about an hour (40 miles or so), i checked the fuel pressure again. it was pegged out at about 70, so i turned it back down to the 50 or so it was at before. has ran pretty much fine since, but seems a little doggy, and i can't tell for sure, but seems like it has minor misfires still while cruising.

any ideas? sorry it's so long, but thanks!

Clogged fuel rail or faulty fuel pump possibly.

check your grounds. sounds like yours is caused by the ASD (auto shut down relay) i had a similar problem. mine was from a bad ground on my msd adapter. the signal wasn't getting to the stock pcm, so it thought something wasn't spinning correctly, and it would shut down the engine after about a mile or so. not sure on the redline then, however.
