I was planning on getting an srt-4 in the next year or so but i was thinking also in sellinbg my base model and getting an r/t (MT)or some thing and putting on a turbo kit....... that was one idea the other was keep the base line model (AT) and make it a turbo.... some one told me a auto is better in some cases with a tubo cuz it shifts better..... but i dunno i still want an srt-4 lol

any opinions ??

 

A built ATX will be better than a MTX. However the MTX is better for turbo, if you don't build the trans.

 

see but by the time i get the turbo kit, rebuild a new engine, new tranny, and the body work my car still needs it will be about the same price and prolly still slower then the srt-4...

 

Should not cost that much, you could be out the door under 10,000 with turbo, trans, motor, and a nice paint job. It will probally be faster than a stock SRT-4 because it will weigh less.
