Default Rally neon!!! Questions still awaits answers!!!

I have asked some questions b4 about struts... but still await answers.. Does anyone know the answers?

Question 1
Is it possible to put convert the struts and control arms off the 1st gen to a 2nd Gen?

Question 2
I know the 2nd Gen Springs will interchange and raise the 1st Gen Up but will the Struts and Control arms as a whole raise the car up?

Question 3
Since people have put the PT Cruiser Struts and Control arms on would that be another option and would that raise the car up?

Question 4
If none of the other ways are possible what is my only hope? Are Springs the only way?

You could get some shocks that have a much longer stroke along with some springs (kinda like a truck lift kit) and fabricate a way to mount it to your spindle.

I thought 2nd gen springs were lower, smaller?

Nope, 2nd gen springs are taller.

I am trying to get atleast 2 inches taller. I already have rims and tires to lift me up as I am running 195 60 15 on Saturn Alloys running into problems with getting taller than that. And to add to that I am on a budget of less than $500. I can easily get the control arms and struts for free off another Newer Bodystyle Neon Possibly off a PT Cruiser. I have done some work for a junkyard and they are willing to help me out with this caveat. I have a need for Struts so this would work out perfect if possible.

Stock ride hight with skid plates would be cheaper, and you wouldnt wear tires out so bad... Why do you feel the need to go so high?

I needed this car to clear different things out this way, For instance deep ruts in dirt roads, and snow drifts. I have mentioned it previously that I have a car that I need to be capable of being out in the country or making it different place that a normal stock car cant besides a suburu ( I really hate them imports anyways...). So now I have installed the Springs off a 04 base model and it seems like it is working out for me. I have a new dream for this car which is pikes peak but at $6500 I'll have to wait a long while.
