strut problem

I have a 97 dodge neon. Im doing the front struts myself, and i was woundering if there is a special tool to get the nut off the top of the strut? Thanks for the info

an impact wrench or a 1/2" socket with a breaker bar. or jut a 1/2" socket with a pipe on the handle of a wrench should give you enough leverage.
