Red face Complete rebuild

So about a year ago I threw a rod in my 97 sohc ... I used to be on here every once in a while till that happened. But now i want to rebuild from the ground up.. 5 spd swap and turbo rebuild...

Now my question is... Which would be the best bang for my buck... a 2.4 swap or a 2.0 Dohc. I was all set and ready to get a 2.4 when a buddy from school mentioned that the 2.0 has a shorter stroke so it would be better for turbo. But would I be able to run more psi on the 2.4, if so would that not cancel oput the stroke length difference?

Thanks

there is no substitute for Cubic Inches. Go for the 2.4
