Default Weird electrical problem(short?)

My battery light is on..alt/battery good. Starter ground, (rear of) head ground good, small ground at drivers HL frame good. No turn signals/hazards. Turn HL's on and radio light dims. Also the left turn stayed lit when the HL's were on, but now doesn't. Fuse was blown for turn signals once but now isn't. All other electrical is fine in terms of driving WOT with radio on.....

Does it HAVE to be a bad ground or something else? Should I start by running a voltmeter to the fuse for the turns?

make sure your battery temp senors is pluged in, its located on the battery tray (pulg is on the bottom). 90% chance it could be the problem

It is now plugged in. I don't have the top part of the battery or the hose for the air to it on cause of my CAI and still get the code for it. What do I need for it to work and why(just wondering, not arguing) would it cause this short?

well i don t think its a short, i think that the batt light is unrelated to the problems with the lights. Im not exacly sure but the batt light comes on for low voltage, and batt temp.

Your signals and hazards dont work at all? firts place i would start looking would be the flasher relays and the switch on the steering column.

What codes are you getting?

I changed the green relay, and black one I believe also(I'll change that one again). It was making a typewriter sound from there until I replaced the green one. I don't believe I have brake lights either(could just be my brake switch, I will go test those in a bit). The battery light is gone now that I attached the battery temp sensor, but there was no hage system light for it in the haynes so I guess they missed that one.

Im thinking the switch on the column is your best bet as the blinker problem since they fail in other ways. Also the best way to know for sure if you have short is by getting the blinkers to work and seeing if they make the HL turn on.

dont know what hage system is

The blinker switch on the steering wheel was the culprit. The one signal staying on is what confused me. Also the radio dimming I guess happens with stock stereos, I've always had aftermarket.
