Default neon soch, pcm and piping fire!

i bought a stock pcm but my car got the rev limit at 7000rpms what kind of pcm its that... well my neon its lightly moded and when get the rev limit every time its "jump" lmiting the car explote on the exhaust pipe why its that?

kinda sounds like your having after fire issues this is most likely caused by a temp rich fuel mixture getting reignited in the exhaust. Try putting the old injectors back in.

i think 7000RPM is the OEM rpm limit, although i could be wrong

it sounds more like you are floating the valves...w/ a stock cam, you really don't want to push the rpm's much past 6200...you have more power if you change gears.

If she is hitting the limit at about 7000 RPM you may have a ATX PCM as they are rev limited to 6250 RPM.

ohh ok, i gonna make a mix meter ofr fix the fuel problem, and about the pcm i dont think its oem cuz the oem limits at 6750...
I know that this out of the thread but what kind of spark plug u recomend for my car?
