guys help me out i want to put 3 inch exhhaust iw as guna ether run it straight back put a tip in the middle of my bumper so i had a pefectly straght exhaust for the best power what do you think? or my other optuion was to make that right turn thwen go straght out the side of the tire ether in front of the tire or behind it where ever it runs. what do you guys think about that?

 

wait are you turbocharged too? or planning on turbo? cuz unless you have boost, there's no gains with such a large exhaust. And if you are turbocharged, backpressure increases lag, so I'd go with a 3.5" exhaust, you'd spool 500 rpm sooner

straight back won't work...you got the rear frame in the way, and in front of the rear tire is a bad place too...curb your car once and you bend the pipe...best would to be to run in the stock location...rear drivers side is best.

 

3.5" on a neon? WTF?!
even with a turbo, there isnt much use for an exhaust bigger then 2.5" on a neon

 

i vote for 3in, with high flow muff out the side

im doing hi flow matlic cat cutout, 1 inch fles pipe i m guna flange my cat to mke it removable so i can put test pipe in. im guna use a morso spril race pipe with maybe a resonator tip or regular tip, and im guna wrap the hole exhaust from the front back major scavinging
