i have a 96 plymouth neon sohc atx base line and just had a brand new tank,fuel filter and some other work like oil change and new oil pan put on and a new fuel line and i have a brand new air filter and when i started it up it was studdering and idleing rough acting like it is getting to much air when i am at a higher rpm its fine but when its idleing it messed up goes down to like 300 rpm and trys to die until you hit the gas again anyone know what could be wrong someone said the idler sensor or arm i dont remember which it was any help?
thanks for all ya guys help im gunna run fuel injector cleaner through to see if it is the fuel injectors but if it doesnt im gunna sell it cuz i cant get that much help with this pos thanks
P.S the check engine light isnt on just so you guys know
they were probably talking about the IAC (Idle Air Control). its on the TB. how does it run when you driving at slow speed with just putting it in gear and not touching the throttle any? does it want to die or does it "idle drive" good?
the car when it wants to just sitting it will try to die but when im in the higher rpm's it doesnt want to die just real low rpms it has alot of bogging down at first and i know the headgasket isnt gone and does the same thing when it is in gear
