Default Cleaning HL's?

Advanced has bottled stuff for 6-7 bucks but I'm not too sure about how well it works. My HL's are not yellow one bit, but are still faded clear/white and the output sucks. I've also heard of some homemade idea, so anyone know whats best?

get your self some 1500 or 2000 grit sandpaper and a can of clear spray paint. sand it til its all smooth and all the flakes are gone wipe it off and spray the clear. I did that on my truck HL's and it turned out really nice. good luck

So the 'fogginess" is just a layer on the outside and can be sanded? Where would I get 1500 cause highest I saw was 600 at home depot....

Auto parts stores should have it. it would be wet sand paper for auto paints.

Advanced has a kit for 20 bucks I'll just grab that.
