So I took the trunk off to repaint it, and figured I'd leave the arms on since it seemed they were bolted through a normal hole and could be put back in the same exact place. Well come to realize the arms on the back dash have adjustment slots not just regular holes. Whats the best way to re-adjust the trunk, I tried adjusting the arms on the trunk too but its still off and my trunk doesn't open half the time????

 

When you say it doesnt open half the time do you mean by the cable? if so try adjusting the striker latch maybe. Never knew they were adjustable on the inside thanks for that info .

 

The arms have adjusters on them? hmmm never realized that. Whenever I've taken the trunk lid off I just put it back on the way I got it and never had an issue with it needing adjusting.
