So I have the black plug, with red safety clip style. Its hard to find in the JY, and any that I got I pop the tab off pull it, then I try to re-close the red tab and it wont close..full pressure and nothing. It keeps slipping off the alternator, and I also can seem to push the plug any further and have the black clip snap in place?
Anyone know why they all seem to be doing this?
Anyone have extras?????

 

yeah most of the clips under the hood do that...they are plastic and under the hood it gets hott and the plastic gets weaker surprised the clip did not break most of mine do

 

mine are fine and i have a 95 buy a new one thay dont cost much..
