SPEED CHIP DODGE NEON
So what you are saying is the the injectors are wide open. If that was the case the motor would choke on fuel and stop when you step on the throttle. There has to be some rich/lean reading to control the injectors.
eh? im not quite saying the injectors are wide open.. i was talking about wot (wide open throttle) and not.. (one is open loop, the other closed loop... i just forget which is which)
the ecu/pcm ignores the o2 sensors during WOT operation.. it relies solely on the map and iat sensors to figure out how much fuel it wants the engine to have. now, how the ecu determines whats rich/lean at this point, it doesnt really.. it just bases the injector pulse width depending on the map voltage and the fuel maps stored in the ecu for that operation.
this is why tuning the fuel for WOT is fairly effective when using the apexi s-afc.. it modifies the map voltage that the ecu will see, to "adjust" the air/fuel ratio.. since the ecu doesnt pay attention to the o2 sensor(s) during WOT operation. tuning for normal driving tho, isnt effective with the safc, since the ecu DOES read the o2 sensor during those times to determine the a/f ratio.
hope that makes sense.

There is a real one i dont rember the site but i will find it and let you all know. It is not a resitor but a box it kinda looks like a piggy back for your fuel system but it hooks up to your intake pipeing. i have the box and it produces at leat 10 hp on a 96 sohc.

Dyno, or drop it. I'll even reimburse you for both sets of dyno runs if it produces 10 HP anywhere in the rpm band on your car.

mine cost me 1.98 for 5 of them all they are is a restor if you look up the range in your book you will see it is 7,000-13,000 depending on temp so i went and bought some 10,000 ohm restors and instaled it still not sure if it works will let you know i am also going to buy some 7,000 ohm one and try
