I know there is a post here about this already but i cant find it, any way I just ripped off the trim on my 95 neon,and it looks nice as hell but I still have resedue left over not much but some. How can I get the rest of it off with out hurting my paint? Ive tried prep all , mineral spirits,soap and a heat gun any sugestions would be nice. thanks

 

Goo be gone, rubbing alcohol, adhesive remover, try auto zone.

 

Yep. Goo Gone and some elbow grease. That's how I got the gunk off after removing my hood emblem.

 

if ur putting a new hood one on they sell them on ebay for $3 + shipping comes to like $6. cheaper then dealer and its a dealer emblem.

 

I have no intention of putting a new emblem on the hood. I took the old emblem off, and put it on my dash
