Default Sorry to hear about it.

You should check with the local junkyards to see if they have any 1995 - 1999 neon engines. I don't know what year you have, but the only real red-haired stepchild of these years is the 1995 model as they have some different sensors and PCM from the other 1st gen years - but the basic motor is the same, so if you do have a 1995 and get a 1998 model engine, you can usually modify (or get the wiring harness and PCM too) what you have to work.

As for help, the Haynes Manual is pretty decent. The only problem I have with the manual is that it bounces you all over the book to find out what you need to do - which I understand as to repeat the same steps over and over would mean the manual would weigh 50 pounds and be 7 inches thick - but it is still annoying to have to fumble around finding the correct page/section with greasy hands.....

If you have any specific questions, just post em. Someone will usually help pretty quick.
