if im not mistaken i think there is a different plug on the 97's then the 95's or you could just have a bad fan motor
The 95's had a fan relay in the power distribution box beside the battery. Later models had an electronic fan relay below the battery I think. I also believe there was a Dodge recall/upgrade on the electronic fan relay.
