Default dohc header on sohc?

my friend has a header for a dohc for sale, and i was wondering if it would work on a sohc engine. this isn't for me, it is for a friend of mine, i just want to save him the trouble of buying it and having it not work. (he would check himself, but he doesn't have internet access)

thanks in advance

jeff

dont hold me to it but im pretty sure they are different cause of the difference in heads and the fact that most places have one or the other its never universal like 95-99 sohc and then a 95-99 dohc never both
