Default Rebuilding my 2.0

Hey everyone I am in the process of pullng my engine because I screwed it up using nitrous. Now I'm going to use pistons for nitrous this time but I have a question, will I be able to pull the engine while leaving the trany in the car or do I have to pull it with the trany? Thanks..

Did what twice? Pulled it while leaving the trany in the car? If so then how, I can't get enough room to slide it out because the torque converter so I'm stuck. If I can leave the trany in then kool but if not then oh well

Default I have done it both ways - I like pulling both better.

The first time, I pulled just the engine and found it a royal pain moving the motor around trying to line up the spindle on the tranny with the clutch all while trying to line up the bolt holes and get it all back together.

The recommended way to do it is pull the whole mess out. I can see why as when I did it that way the second time, it is WAY easier to line up the front and rear motor mounts (car left and right, not car front).

Having done it both ways, I like the second way better, but you choose what is right for you. You CAN do it either way.
