Default ebay springs

so if you search lowering springs for a neon on ebay you come up with a ton of cheap springs...has anyone ever used any of those? or are the pretty much junk?

well i like the idea. how hard would it be to change your own springs? has anyone done this? its a 1.7 in lowering kit...a little more than i wanted but would this make it ride rough?

changing springs isnt that bad but you will need to rent a spring compressor from autozone as for lowering springs, your going to kill your struts quick and yes ebay ones are very cheap but effective if your jus goin for the lowered look put it this way if you are goin to buy ebay lowering spring save your money and just cut your stocks

most ebay springs are cheep. but if u can find a good set like eibach for a good price. I got a set of falken spring with a 1.8 drop off of ebay. the ride is still good gets a bit bumpy at times but thats on a rough road.

also if u change ur springs you should get new struts that are made to handle the drop. like KYB GR 2 or Koni adjustable .

yeah the really cheap ebay springs are good for the lowered look but as long as you don't mind bouncing and handling like crap go for it... if you want it to ride decent handle decent and look good your deff going to want to spend a more money and get the good brands...
