Default All Carbon Fiber Neon?

Further down the road i was thinking about buying all carbon fiber bumbers, fenders, door panels, and even maybe the roof. This would make the car considerably lighter. Although expensive i think it may be worth it. what are your views on doing this and is it worth it?

yeah, it is quite expensive.

ive seen pics of one 1st gen neon that had extensive carbon fiber work done.. widebody kit.. hood, trunk lid, fenders, bumper covers, interior pieces, doors.. b pillar covers.. roof..

i think he said it cost him over $50,000 in total to do it all? been a while. but it was a LOT of cf.

is it worth it? i dunno. personally i think if ya got that much money to toss around, you may be better off with a much newer car to be more competetive in the car show circuit.

Yea. I know that carbon fiber isnt cheap. I think i might just get a carbon fiber trunk hood and wing. It will be a while before i do anymore body work on it anyways, im getting ready to get a turbo kit and make the engine a little stronger. then im going to redo the suspension cause its old. then im gonna do the interior then once thats all done im gonna do the exterior. I have a nice paintjob now but it needs to be touched up. Sure does turn heads though. i get a lot of positive inputs. I will try to get a pic on here soon.
