Hey guy. Fuel pump went out on the 98 2.0 sohc so I replaced it with just the fuel pump only (not the whole assembly). And now the fuel pump comes on but the fuel lines are not being pressurized. Any idea where to look? I already made sure the fuel pump was seated properly in the bucket. Only changes I made were the filter sock is from a 00+(shorter) and replaced the filter/regulator on top of the hat. Thanks!

 

i would make sure you put the wires on the pump the right way. If you hook up the pump backwards it will still run just no pressure.

 

I put the wires back in this order: 1-red 2-sender 3-sender 4- black. Is this correct?
