Default 1998 Neon blowing the fuel pump fuse

My 98 is blowing the fuel pump fuse, I replace the fuse it is good for a couple of days, then it blows the fuse again. The strange thing about this is it has blown the fuse twice and each time it is when I start to back up. Has anyone experienced this before, any help would be appreciated. There are no trouble codes set in the comp.

A short in the harness could cause this. Been doing any splicing lately? Check around the O2 sensor.

The wiring to the O2 sensor may be grounding out on the axle. A common problem on the neon.

Interesting, there's someone selling one locally for $350 that's doing that. I thought about buying it, but I really don't have the room.
