ok i got a white reverse gauge to go over my regular black one on my cluster or watever. we took the needles out and put them back in once we put the face on. they worked fine. then we started wiring it. we got it to work. put the positive on the big green wire with the stripe on it and the ground to the black ground. everything worked the switch controled it. we wanted to make it so that when i pull my light thing my gauge will light up also and when i turn the lights off the gauge turns off. so my friend cut part of the wiring to the switch it had. split the wires and connected the positve side to the positive wire which was the green one, and the negative to the ground again. it didnt work. so if someone could tell me why it didnt work? and then we reconnected it so it was connectted back to the switch an tried it again an it didnt work. so any help as to wat i should do? and keep in mind that my battery was dying cuz the lights were really dimmed and by the time we reconnected the switch my battery was like 5 min. away fromm dyin. which it eventually did. so can some tell me how to make this dam gauge work an light up??!
