EVAP System?
the egr/evap system is meant to help prolong the life of the engine.
you can remove it, but if you dont have an aftermarket computer such as the AFx Race ecu, you will throw CELs..
that and dont get caught removing it, its actually illegal to remove any emissions-related equipment from the vehicle, and the evap system is part of it. but like i said, dont get caught

It is supposed to send gas vapors from your fuel tank to get burned in the engine - environmental type stuff.
You can remove it completely on a '95 without getting a CEL. All other years with the stock or Mopar computer will get the CEL.

Removing it or keeping it makes no difference except weight. If you take it out and go to an inspection station that does a decent visual, you'll fail and have to fix it and possibly have to pay a fine. The whole system wieghs under 10 pounds, so unless you're into serious weight redux, just leave it in.
