Try to get to the other side of the plug and look at the harness. The wire colors there should be Black, Black with a Light Blue stripe, Tan with a White stripe, Dark Green with an Orange stripe. That should help you differentiate the two. Curious, why do you ask?

well im a junkyard builder. so i got an o2 sensor from a local wrecker, but the o2 sensor has a different coupler to the alternator. so im going to splice the wires from the old sensor harness to the "new" o2 sensor harness. saves money and time that way. the wrecker is 45 minutes for fredericton. so if this works then i dont have to go back. ****ing rain is stopping me now tho. ty! peace.
