Exclamation i just did a swap....

I just did a swap from a second gen neon that was a 5spd over to a automatic and used all the same parts from the auto on the 5spd engine and it started right up no problem except there is a grinding sound that only happens when i put the car in gear it isnt overly loud but noticeable anyone tell me what that is please i dont want my trans to get all screwed up and yes i made sure i tightened all the bolts on the automatic flywheel and i noticed it is hitting the dust shield i dont know if it is hitting the regular metal plate that bolts to the side of the engine against the trans any help is greatly appreciated the early the response the better i am not driving it because of the grinding noises so please help ASAP thanks

Did you use red loc tite on the flex plate bolts that secure the torque converter?

no they already had blue stuff on them so i left it alone after i torqued them down and come to find out now my trans front seal just started leaking about to give up on this car

would have but my wife cant drive 5spd only i can and i bought the car for her otherwise i would have
