A manual transmission can make alot of different noises under different conditions, please help us by using alot of words to describe when the sound happens, moving? sitting? both? only when shifting or all the time? is it a grinding sound, or a whining sound? When it happens, does the pitch of the sound change when engine speed changes?

Without tese facts, your answer can not be completed with any accuracy.

Help us help you

bearings yo sounds like your input shaft or main shaft bearings are shot you might as well replace the trans with a decent low mileage one from a junk yard cause bearings are expensive and extensive
