I have a 96 neon 2.0 SOHC, my old PCM shorted on cylinder 4, so i got one out a highline that had the same PCM numbers, engine size, the only different thing was that it was an automatic car and mine is a manual. but the car will not fire and run, the coil pack is getting very little power to plugs 1 and 4, and when i do the key trick, i get codes 37 and 45, 37 is solenoid coil, and 45 is turbo boost limit exceeded (engine shut down by logic module).
Is this PCM shot? should i go get another from the junkyard? and if so, should i find one out of a manual?

 

it was that PCM, it had been locked and fried, another one from the junkyard did the trick
