Default compression problem?

I think I might have a compression problem. The car starts but sometimes it runs real ****ty. im almost positive ive burnt a ring or two. Is there a quick simple way to fix this or do i have to rip the engine apart. I really cant afford the latter and i need a vehicle to run around in. I need it to run atleast 50 miles a day. if not that than atleast 40 any and all help will be very greatly appreciated

Default RE: compression problem?

Quick fix is a motor swap.

Cheaper would be to hone the bores and drop new rings.

Later is just a band aid though.

Assuming of corse that is the problem.
