big rock+low car=new oil pan
hello, i bought my first neon a few days ago, it is a 97 plymouth, 2L. the only problem is that the steel/metal/ not aluminum oil pan, has a large hole in it, preventing me from driving it, duh. what i would like to know is if i can replace it with the aluminum counterpart, you see, i am having alot of trouble finding a pan for it (called several dozen yards) and am getting frustrated as it is my main car.
thanks!
thanks!
well if you cant find a pan at a junkyard why dont you take the pan off and get a patch welded into it, i had a plug welded into my oil pan by the drain plug about 4 years ago and it dosent give me any problems
