i read a code 12 and 54. problem with battery connection to pcm. input to pcm disconnected within last 50 ignition cycles. 54 no camshaft position sensor signal from distributor. problem withh the distributor synchronization circuit.

are these related? i wanna know for sure i can see how but just wanna check bfr i dive into this.
and is 54 gonna be another cam sensor?

 

Ignore 12. If you have disconnected the battery recently, you will get a 12 error code.

As for 54, you either have a bad cam sensor, or the wiring to the cam sensor may be bad, or a loose/dirty connector that needs cleaning.
