I had a '99 which is in the pic under my name but sadly the engine blew yesterday while driving home. i got a '97 today. The engine sounds good and its in decent condition. only prob is that it sat for a few months so its not getting the power i know it has, it runs a little slugish. i got new plugs and wires and plan on servicing transmission and giving it a full tune up. is there anything else that might keep it from running at its full potential? any help is greatly appreciated.

 

there are a lot of things it could be. How many miles on the motor?

 

i think it has 146k the engine doesnt sound bad at all and it shifts alot better than my old one. Im gonna give it the full tune up and see how it runs after that. i hope its something easily fixable or else im just gonna give up on cars and get me a truck.
