i was wondering how to reset the computer on my 98 plymouth neon DOHC i just put another motor in it and i need to reset it to clear codes if anyone can help.

 

unhook battery and clamp both cables together for a cpl mins.

she will run a lil rough for the 1st 10-15 mins as she relearns all the sensors

 

how did you put an engine in there without unhooking the battery? It should not have any codes except for 12 and 55

 

i thought about that after i posted it, the dude at autozone kept sayin it needed reset when i went to have the codes checked because it was showin up the cam censor and the engine coolant censor(which i just bought) but i made them give me a new engine coolant censor and i changed the cam censor to my old one and it was fine.
