i just bought a 98 dodge neon and im having some problems and i dont know what it could be. when im driving it acts like it doesnt want to go...i can put the gas all the way to the floor and it wont go it jerks like really bad....... i dont know what it could be ????

 

try a tune up
new fuel filter, plugs

and it might be a plugged cat. does it smell like rotten eggs? a little more info might help.

but if you just bought it a new fuel filter and new plugs arent out of the question as far as routine matinenace goes.

 

Id say fuel filter.....Im about 90% positive its a fuel filter probelm.

 

Is the "Service Engine Soon" light lit?

 

Do a tune up and read the engine codes if there are any, that will give you a good start.
