damn egr code
alright any help would be awesome. ive got a 97 neon dohc,
i got a code 32 egr nonsense. i attempted to clen the whole thind out and replaced it
reset the computer and the damn code returned. so i went and bought a new egr
replaced that reset the ecm and the code has returned once again. i dont see any
vacuum leaks. so my question is what else would cause this and how do i fix
the damn problem

The code 32 could be:
P0401 - EGR system failure
P0403 - EGR solenoid circuit
So replacing the valve/assembly would not fix a problem with the circuit.
I removed my EGR system when I installed the Mopar PCM. I don't recall what electronics were on there - position sensor, drive motor maybe. Then there's all the wiring to consider. I can go look it up in the FSM if you like, or you can pick up a Haynes/Chilton's manual pretty cheap.
