Default lookin for more motor power.

What can i do to make a 1997 2.0 sohc hane more power. it for a dirt track race car. so no turbo

well there's alot lol but budget would be your first question. try reading the forums more first to get and idea. maybe even a book about it. howell automotive sells a really good book called dodge neon builders guide. it has alot of useful info and only 20 bucks

What is all done to it right now? Answer that and we can help you with what else needs to be done, also, what reg's can you do to it and be legal for the race?

the car is 1 98 dodge neon r/t. i can do what ever i want just no turbo. it stock right now but i have a 04 neon srt 2.4 head at the shop it getting a valve job of 5 degree, ported, wash cleaned, leveled and that it. the car dose have a mopar 8500 rev chip.

LTH, CAI, cam gears (since it is an rt, DOHC) upgrade the TB to a cherokee one or similar (60mm+) might get a AMM intake mani ( I do not know your budget, but you would be looking around 1k or under for all these mods) and you should be getting some decent power from these. Perhaps some 22 grind cams for #$% and giggles.
