I just bought a 1995 dodge neon today; dome light is not working after checking all fuses, changing bulb, and twisting switch all the way to left. Anyone have any suggestions? i have never had a neon so am lost with it.

Take bulb out, test light the connections where the bulb goes to see if you have power to the fixture. if you have power there, get a different bulb, if no power, check the harness, it runs down the drivers side A pillar if I remember correctly, orange wire and white I think, been a while since I have seen actual neon wiring.

 

ok well ill try that; the bulb is brand new...

 

brand new does not always mean it works.
