If it fell inside the engine, then you need to remove the oil pan to get it out. You do not want that thing rattling around in the bottom of your engine as if it comes in contact with the rotational parts of your engine (the crank), very very bad juju will come to you.

If it is just sitting in the hole but too deep for you to grab with your fingers, you can try to use a parts magnet to pull it out, but if that fails, then you might try to use something like some very fine needle nose pliers or even those surgical clamps to grab it and pull it out.

Good luck.

Mine broke off too and I was able to pull it out using those very small surgical clamps that you can find at Harbor Freight for almost nothing. They fit into the hole easily and I was able to get mine out. The magnet was my next attempt had that failed.

Good luck.
